Tuition Policies

There is a $100.00 non-refundable registration fee ($150 for siblings) and a $25.00 charge for returned checks.

Tuition payments are due on the first of the month in which care is provided. Payments may be made by one-half on the first of the month, and the remainder by the 15th of the month. On the 20th day of the month, late fees will apply at the following rates: for balances under $200, the late fee is $25.00, for balances over $200, the late fee is $50.00.

Thirty day's written notice must be given for withdrawal from the Center or schedule changes. The full tuition will be charged for thirty days from the date written notice is given, whether or not the child attends (absence credit applies). There is a late fee of $1.00/minute for children that are left at the Center past the posted closing time (as indicated by the clock at the Center) or 6:00 p.m. on early closure days. This fee is to be paid directly, in cash, to the staff member who has had to stay late with the child, at the time of pick-up or the following day.

Full days are a maximum of 10 hours per day, as mandated by state licensing requirements. Half days are for a maximum of 5 hours per day, either in the morning or afternoon. The cut-off time for morning half-days is 12:00 p.m., and regular late fees apply for children who are picked up after 12:00 p.m.

Scheduled days may not be switched. Children may attend the Center for extra days at their current daily rate (on a space-available basis). Extra days must be approved in advance by a Director.

If the child is absent for part of a week, the full tuition is charged. If a child is absent for five consecutive days or longer, an absence credit is given at one half of the current fee (applies for illness and vacation absences) for up to a maximum of 4 weeks.

For children receiving childcare subsidies, all tuition policies will apply to any required family co-payment. Families are responsible for any late fees incurred. Families are also responsible for providing current, written verification of subsidy payments before the child will be accepted into care.

Failure to comply with any of the Center's policies may result in the termination of the child's enrollment at the Center.
